Job summary

Sylvan Health is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our growing medical weight management program on a part-time basis (20 hours/week) as a remote W-2 employee. You will deliver virtual visits, collaborate with Registered Dietitians, and help build our GLP-1 program for obesity medicine.

The ideal candidate has an NP license, DEA registration, and experience managing obesity or metabolic disease, with strong communication and autonomous telehealth practice.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license with ability to practice in applicable states.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Experience managing obesity or metabolic disease is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial 40-minute evaluations for medical weight management.
• Provide 20-minute follow-up visits focused on medication management and monitoring.
• Evaluate and prescribe GLP-1 therapy within scope of practice.
• Monitor treatment response and laboratory findings; adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with referring providers and registered dietitians for coordinated care.
• Educate patients on expectations, safety, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain timely documentation in electronic health records.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
