An opportunity awaits for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services in an elementary school setting. This role involves working with a diverse group of students, helping them overcome speech and language challenges to achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to 50-70 students, addressing individual needs.
- Manage and document cases for 7-20 students, developing personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to track speech and language development.
- Provide resources and strategies for students and families to reinforce learning objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with elementary school students preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and families.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload while providing individualized attention.
