Job summary

Technologist, Inc. seeks a Telecommunications Instructor to support JCSE at MacDill AFB, FL.

You will independently create and update comprehensive courses in advanced technical systems, including Cisco and CompTIA certifications, with a focus on accuracy and practical application. You will research, adapt, and deliver materials, develop tests and training aids, and manage schedules and resources for classroom and field instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Networks/IT or eight years related experience.
• Seven years of progressive experience in the discipline.
• Three or more years of consecutive teaching experience (any formal instructor/teaching education).
• Applicable training and/or current certifications such as CCNP or MCSA or equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Independently research, develop, maintain and update materials for complete courses in advanced technical systems.
• Conduct extensive fact finding to select and adapt training material from industry, labs, universities and other agencies to develop complete courses.
• Develop course material including guides, visual aids, simulations, tests, proficiency charts and outlines.
• Update materials as subject matter changes and coordinate with other courses as needed.
• Develop and adapt training or testing materials for course use.
• Coordinate scheduling and operations for course delivery.
• Develop and update lesson plans for advanced technical systems.
• Create short and long-range lesson plans aligned with total course content.
• Assess impact of new material and coordinate with other courses.
