Job summary

Rockwood R-6 School District in Wildwood, Missouri is seeking a Telecommunications Technician to support district telephone, voicemail, and intercom systems across multiple sites. You will troubleshoot, install, and back up telecom infrastructure while coordinating with staff.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds, valid driver’s license for travel, and availability for evenings or weekends as needed; starting immediately with a 260-day calendar and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in telephone systems, voicemail systems, intercom systems and related telecommunications support roles preferred.
• Possess valid driver’s license to support multiple locations in the district

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair telephone systems, voicemail systems, intercom systems and related telecommunications
• Troubleshoot wiring problems for voice and intercom systems
• Install and configure telephone systems, voicemail systems, intercom systems
• Use network administration tools to manage user accounts, perform system backups
