Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Telecommunications & Security Systems/ICT Designer to join our Conshohocken/NC-based teams on projects including advanced facilities and data centers. You will CAD-draft electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems using AutoCAD and Revit for 2D/3D layouts and documentation.

Collaborate with engineers and design leads on delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely coordination in a dynamic, world‑class environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Autocad design experience required, with familiarity in electrical systems.
• Experience with NEC and electrical design requirements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex CAD packages in coordination with engineers and design leads.
• Create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic documents using AutoCAD and Revit.

We're looking for a Telecommunications & Security Systems/Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Designer in Conshohocken, PA/Cincinnati, OH/Indianapolis, IN/Cary, NC/Texas/Virginia who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit, you’ll create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files.

Our designers are responsible for delivery of complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads and form the core of our delivery team.

Key Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
• At least 4 years of Autocad design experience
• Experience with computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems is highly preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit to create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files

Essential Experience

• 1 year of Revit Design Experience
• Exposure to NEC and electrical design requirements

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $71,000.00 to $120,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
