Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Telecommunications Project Manager to lead design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems in Ashburn, VA.

You will manage project scope, schedules, estimates, and material coordination, working with customers and field teams to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on construction experience in telecommunications.
• Experience creating project schedules with Primavera P6, MS Project, or Excel.
• Experience in project estimation or takeoffs.
• Knowledge of CAT5/CAT6 and OSP/ISP cabling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and deployment of integrated infrastructure and telecom systems.
• Assist project Superintendent and Engineering with project docs and layout.
• Prepare design/build project estimates based on design criteria.
• Meet with customers to present proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinate materials, tools, and equipment with project team and warehouse.
• Manage project cash flow and manpower.

Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Telecommunications Project Manager to join a design services company for mission critical systems. Ashburn, VA. You will run job sites based on where you live as to keep the commute reasonable.

Essential Duties of the Telecommunications Project Manager:

• Leading the design and deployment of Integrated Infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
• Assisting the project Superintendent and Engineering in the preparation of project documentation requirements, project layout, and field office support.
• Preparing a design/build project estimate based on design criteria.
• Meeting with customers to present proposals and cost estimates.
• Coordinating the acquisition of all materials, monitoring tools and equipment requirements with the project team and the warehouse.
• Overall financial management of the project (s) including cash flow and manpower needs.

Qualifications of the Telecommunications Project Manager:

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in construction specific to telecommunications.
• Experience with creating project schedules with tools similar to Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or Excel.
• Experience in project estimation (like estimating change orders) or completing new job takeoffs.
• Require understanding/knowledge of Structured Cabling projects like CAT 5, CAT6 along with OSP & ISP cabling..

Compensation for the Telecommunications Project Manager:

• $100,000 - $130,000 (based on experience)
