Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Telecommunications Lineman II for the Westfield, MA area. You will install and repair fiber and telecom lines, ensuring safe, reliable service while traveling as needed for storm response.

Embrace a safety-first culture and support teammates in a field-based, hands-on role. The position requires at least three years of lineman experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a CDL if not already held.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Valid state CDL license and/or willingness to obtain it.
• Minimum of three years of relevant Lineman experience.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service.
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws.
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job.
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice.
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

Physical abilities & exposures

• Routinely: work with arms above shoulder level at heights, in confined spaces and in remote locations, climb stairs, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk and lift up to 55 pounds, operate vehicle & heavy machinery
• Occasionally: use keyboard and mouse
