Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Telecommunications (Communications Systems) Designer in California to help design and integrate building-wide low-voltage networks, including DAS, security, CCTV, and AV systems. You will collaborate across disciplines and with global delivery teams to deliver reliable, future-ready infrastructure.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing communications systems for buildings.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with ANSI/TIA and BICSI standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop technology systems for building projects including telecommunications, security, AV, and low-voltage systems.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, reports, and review technical documentation for accuracy.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, fire protection and architectural teams across disciplines.
