Job summary

SoluComp Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Telecommunication Wireless Field Technician III to join our on-site/hybrid team. The role involves field installation, integration, grounding, and wiring of telecom equipment across multiple sites.

You will work with Samsung, Ciena, Nokia, and other gear, load software on RAN equipment, and potentially train in SFP/fiber tasks. We offer a competitive package and growth in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience installing/chassis, grounding, terminating -48V Telect panels or supplying power to PDU.
• Experience loading software on Samsung RAN equipment.
• Experience with Samsung, Ciena, Nokia, and Power Plan Equipment installation.
• Experience with running fiber optic cables.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum process.

Responsibilities

• Install SAMSUNG FSU and Ciena chassis in relay racks and grounding.
• Terminate power cables to Telect panels or run power to PDU and add circuit breakers.
• Install GPS cable and terminate to GPS source device.
• Install single-mode fiber with proper labeling.
• Load software on Samsung RAN equipment.
• Train in SFP/fiber installs inside routers, labeling, GPS work.
• Contribute to telecom site build from scratch.

Job Title: Telecommunication Wireless Field Technician III
Location: On-site/Remote/Hybrid
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contract

MUST BE LOCATED IN COLUMBUS OR NEAR BY

We are looking for skilled field equipment telecommunication installers/Integrators that have past experience performing following work.

Out of state workers are welcome, however there is no per diem for out of state workers as the project will span for multiple years.

• 1. Installation of SAMSUNG FSU and Ciena Chassis. Past experience installing equipment chassis in relay racks, grounding. Also must have experience terminating power cables to existing -48V Telect panels "or" running power cables to PDU and adding circuit breakers.
• 2. Installation of GPS cable and terminating it to GPS source device.
• 3. Single mode fiber cable installation and termination, along with proper labeling.
• Loading software on to Samsung RAN equipment.
• As long as the candidate can handle the power work, we are willing to train the field tech in other areas such as SFP install and fiber installs inside the routers, labeling, GPS work and grounding.
