Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• 3–5 years of underground telecom construction or related field experience.
• Advanced knowledge of operating and maintaining construction equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and project specifications.
• Strong independent work ethic with teamwork and safety focus.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled tasks loading, delivering, excavating, and operating equipment for underground projects.
• Install and maintain underground telecom cable with precision to specs.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain construction equipment.
• Assist supervisors with plans, material management, and task prioritization.
• Support small workgroups to meet project goals safely.
• Prepare and verify detailed production reports.
• Assist with site restoration including grading and landscaping.
• Identify safety and operational issues and address them proactively.
• Train and mentor Level I and II laborers.
