Job summary

Star Construction, LLC is seeking a laborer for our Telecom Underground team in Batesville, Mississippi. You will participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment.

You'll install underground telecommunications cabling, maintain work areas, and complete daily production reports. The role requires being at least 18, authorized to work in the United States, and having a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks is preferred.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding construction tasks in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction tasks including loading, delivery, digging, and operating equipment
• Install underground telecommunications cabling
• Operate construction equipment and maintain work areas
• Clearly communicate with all team members
• Complete daily production reports
• Help with site restoration efforts
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
