Job summary

AllCom Global Services / STRANTECH is seeking an onsite Telecommunications Installer to perform a wide variety of activities related to the installation of telecom infrastructure. The role relies on general instructions and pre-established guidelines to complete end-to-end system installation and testing under supervision.

Responsibilities include following directions from senior technicians or site managers and promoting the company’s core values of honesty, integrity, quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in the construction and/or telecommunications installation field.
• Experience with installation practices within telecom/data center environment, including installation of raised floor systems, server cabinets/open racks, ladder racks, fiber troughs and related materials.
• Ability to complete tasks thoroughly under supervision and capable of climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete end-to-end system installation and testing; duties vary by project type, scope, duration and manpower.
• Follow instructions from higher level Technicians, Lead Technicians or Site Manager.
• Promote AllCom's Core Values of Honesty, Integrity, Quality and Performance.
