Role Overview

The Telecom Engineer is responsible for supporting voice platforms globally.

Skills

- Hands-on experience with AudioCodes SBC, Asterisk Gateway, Avaya ACD, AES, CMS, Verint Recording Platform, System/Session Manager, ACME SBCs, SIP. This includes hardware, software standards, engineering, and security within voice platforms, with a focus on system reliability and security.

- Advanced proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 24x7 operational support for Voice Devices, capacity planning, and infrastructure audits.
  • Create and manage detailed infrastructure documentation and procedures to ensure consistent system design and operations.
  • Proactively monitor voice systems to minimize production downtime and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors, server, network, and operations teams.
  • Provide Level 2 support for unresolved Sev1 issues impacting multiple geographies.
  • Prepare RCA reports for Sev1 incidents.
  • Design solutions for new site setups and ramp-ups.
  • Represent CNX in technical calls with customers for solutioning and RCA discussions.
  • Evaluate new products and technologies.
