Insight Global is seeking a Telecom Project Manager in the San Antonio area to oversee end-to-end delivery of cabling and security camera installations. You will plan, schedule, budget, and allocate resources to ensure successful project execution while coordinating with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

You will supervise installation teams, provide technical guidance, and conduct site surveys to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cable technician with knowledge of cabling systems (fiber, copper, structured cabling). Cat5/Cat6.
• Experience managing cabling and security system projects from start to finish.
• Hands-on experience installing cameras and security hardware.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite.

A client in the San Antonio area is seeking a Telecom Project Manager. This person will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end delivery of cabling and security camera instillations. This role includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, and allocating resources to ensure successful project execution. The Project Manager coordinates closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to define requirements, manage expectations, and maintain smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.Key responsibilities include supervising installation teams, providing technical guidance, and conducting site surveys to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The role oversees the installation of security camera hardware and ensures proper installation and termination of Cat5 and Cat6 cabling. The Project Manager monitors project progress, troubleshoots issues, and ensures all deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, the position is responsible for preparing and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including status reports and close-out packages.

$28-32/hr based on experienceCandidates must be willing to travel around the central Texas area

Skills and Requirements
