NexTech Solutions LLC seeks a Satellite Communications Technician to support and maintain DoD and commercial SATCOM systems, including modems, baseband gear, and backup power equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, operate power backup systems, and prepare written reports, in outdoor and indoor environments, often at heights or confined spaces, with travel to government sites as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance with the US Government.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with good driving history.
• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Military satellite communications SHF and/or EHF operator course or equivalent accredited college/commercial education/military experience as required.
• 3 years’ experience in satellite communications equipment operations and maintenance required.
• Familiar with basic computer network operations.

• Other duties as assigned

The Opportunity

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities

• 3 years’ experience in satellite communications equipment operations and maintenance required.
• Prior experience or demonstrated familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) satellite communication operations.
• Familiar with basic computer network operations

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ certifications desired Professionalism and positive attitude in workplace interactions
• Knowledge of U.S. Navy CMS program.
• Knowledge of U.S. Navy 3M program.

Compensation

The base pay rate for this position is $38.29/hour
