The position involves travel 50% to 80%, on-call shifts, and union-based scheduling, with company-paid training at the BNSF Training Center. Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, Class A CDL (or ability to obtain within 240 days), English

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Able to obtain Class A CDL within 240 days of employment.
  • Able to read, write and communicate in English.
  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Able to travel 50–80% and work in safety-sensitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot telecommunications equipment both inside and outside.
  • Install, maintain fiber optics, cables, towers, antennas, and microwave/radio sites.
  • Operate trucks and equipment to support telecom work.
  • Work in safety-sensitive environments under various weather and shift conditions.
