Job summary

Bristol Companies in Hawaii seeks a Telecommunications Installer 1 & 2 to install, test, maintain, modify, and repair telephone signaling systems and related equipment to ensure uninterrupted communication services.

You may work independently or as part of a team, lead a crew when needed, and follow industry best practices. A high school diploma, 1–2 years of field experience, and a valid driver's license are required; DoD clearance ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BICSI Installer 1/2 or comparable certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install voice and data networks by running, pulling, and terminating cables and equipment.
• Install telecommunications equipment, routers, switches, and cable trays.
• Perform duties independently or as part of a team, or as a foreman when required.
• Follow industry best practices and safety standards in all tasks.
• Handle and interconnect electronic telephone equipment and cables.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical teams.
