Job summary

Pearce is a leading technology-enabled provider of asset management solutions for mission-critical infrastructure across North America. Our Generator Technicians service and repair commercial generators on cell tower sites, requiring travel and independent initiative to keep equipment ready and compliant.

The role requires two+ years of generator maintenance experience, readiness for on-call shifts, and adherence to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of generator maintenance experience preferred; at least one year in generator/electrical maintenance-related software, hardware and processes.
• Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance and repair; knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components; moderate computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining generators, diagnosing and repairing problems, installing and replacing components or entire systems, and performing additional maintenance or upgrades.
• Conducting performance checks and regular maintenance to ensure proper readiness; reading and following blueprints or design specs.
• Install fuel and water supply lines, pumps, electrical wiring and controls; test for proper operation.
• Be on call 24/7 as needed; respond promptly to alarms via phone and email.
• Observe safety practices and attend designated safety and training meetings.
