Job summary

Verizon is hiring a Field Technician to connect customers to America's fastest network in a defined Pennsylvania worksite. The role involves installing, testing, repairing and maintaining telecommunications equipment, reading plans and adhering to safety standards.

You will work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required, with on-site assignments and 40 hours weekly. The ideal candidate has a valid state driver's license and completed Verizon Technician Program or equivalent lineman

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Completion of Verizon Technician Program or similar lineman training.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Connect, disconnect, test, repair and maintain equipment, inside wiring and poles.
• Operate and maintain trucks and equipment safely in field operations.
• Install, repair, maintain and test access lines for all devices and technology.
• Read and interpret engineering plans and vendor specifications.
• Climb ladders/poles and handle items up to approx. 100 lbs.
