Job summary

Orbitel Communications in Maricopa, AZ is seeking a Construction Technician for plant design, residential and commercial development construction. The role includes installing, maintaining, and repairing broadcast systems and equipment in accordance with safety policies.

The position is full-time with a $25.00–$30.00 per hour range. Candidate duties include overhead/underground construction, coordination with design teams, and maintaining quality through inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid and clean driver's license.
• Altec certification (required or to be obtained).

Responsibilities

• Performs overhead/underground construction duties and safe operation of construction vehicles.
• Meets with design and commercial development personnel to assign work and materials.
• Performs quality control inspections and supports training as needed.
• Locates and marks underground cable systems and coordinates with contractors.
• Gathers data and orders assembly for projects.
• Regular, punctual attendance; may work nights, weekends, and overtime.
