Job summary

Peraton in Herndon, VA is seeking a Telecom FENS Manager to lead the execution of large-scale FAA network modernization programs. You will oversee 75–100 engineers and contractors, manage scope, cost, schedule, and risk, and ensure performance against SLAs, KPIs, and FAA governance.

Responsibilities include fiber deployment, secure cloud connectivity, budget planning, and coordination with FAA stakeholders. Position is 100% on-site with leadership duties in a mission-critical Federal environment.

Qualifications

• Requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust.
• 16+ years of experience managing large distributed telecom or network teams.
• Experience delivering telecom programs in federal environments and managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated FENS execution across multiple telecom and network domains.
• Manage scope, cost, schedule, and risk for enterprise network services.
• Oversee day-to-day program operations including fiber deployment and cloud connectivity.
• Lead 75–100 telecom professionals and oversee workforce performance.
• Ensure SLAs and KPIs meet FAA performance expectations.
• Drive budgeting, labor forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with FAA AMS, RMF, NIST and governance.
• Engage FAA stakeholders with executive briefings and program reviews.
