Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Telecom FENS Manager to lead large-scale NAS telecommunications programs, reporting to the Program Senior Director. You will manage a 75–100-strong telecom workforce, oversee fiber deployment, cloud connectivity, and modernization efforts aligned with FAA priorities, while balancing cost, schedule, risk, and performance in a federal environment.

The role is 100% on-site in Herndon, VA, with potential Bowie, MD coordination; U.S.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
16+ years leading large, distributed telecom or network teams (100+ staff).
Experience delivering telecom programs in federal environments.
Knowledge of enterprise network services, service delivery, governance, and performance.

Responsibilities

Lead integrated FENS execution across telecom and network domains.
Manage scope, cost, schedule, risk; coordinate governance and stakeholders.
Oversee day-to-day program operations including fiber deployment and cloud connectivity.
Direct a workforce of 75–100 professionals; mentor and develop staff.
Ensure SLAs, KPIs, and FAA performance targets are met.
Coordinate budget planning, labor forecasting, and financial reporting.
Drive continuous improvement across network modernization initiatives.
