Job summary

Renaissance Repair & Supply in Flower Mound, TX is seeking an experienced Debug Technician to troubleshoot sub-assembly electronics and perform chip-level debugging in a fast-paced telecommunications environment.

You will use meters, scopes and other test equipment, document findings, and collaborate with repair technicians and engineering to root-cause issues. Soldering and fiber knowledge are assets; experience in RF/optical systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Electronic technician diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years telecom industry experience.
• Capable of fault isolation down to component level.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot sub-assemblies with limited documentation down to component level.
• Debug to chip level on low, medium, and high complexity electronics.
• Use test equipment and known good units to complete daily tasks.
• Record daily activities using system tools.
• Collaborate with repair technicians and engineering on root cause.
