Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. is seeking a Drill Operator Foreman to oversee drilling operations for telecommunications infrastructure and ensure safe, efficient installation of cables and equipment. You will be the on-site expert guiding and supporting less experienced crew members.

You will lead Job Safety Analyses, read engineering drawings, determine bore paths, and manage equipment and site setup. This role requires CDL-A with tanker endorsement or ability to obtain it, and at least 3 years

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
3+ years of experience operating drill bores equipment in telecom/construction.

Responsibilities

Lead new site Job Safety Analysis.
Read engineering drawings, prints and technical documents for OSP facilities.
Draw prints or sketches and provide field notes describing OSP facilities.
Safely operate and control all equipment necessary to complete tasks assigned to crew.
Determine bore path and locate utilities.
Utilize mud mixing systems.
Ensure accurate drilling and utility protection.
Schedule, maintain equipment and tooling, and perform site set‑up and clean‑up.
Resolve property owner complaints and document work.
Perform work in all weather conditions.
Other duties as assigned.
