Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Co. seeks a Telecom Drill Bores Operator Foreman to supervise drilling operations for telecom infrastructure and ensure safe, efficient cable installations. You will guide and support less experienced crew members on-site.

The role requires coordinating field work, interpreting engineering documents, and maintaining equipment in all weather conditions. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience operating drill bores equipment in telecom/construction.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid Class A Commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain it.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Read engineering drawings, prints and technical documents for OSP facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead new site Job Safety Analysis.
• Read engineering drawings, prints and technical documents for OSP facilities.
• Draw prints or sketches and provide field notes describing OSP facilities.
• Safely operate and control all equipment necessary to complete tasks assigned to crew.
• Determine bore path and locate utilities.
• Utilize “Mud” mixing systems.
• Ensure accurate drilling and utility protection.
• Schedule, maintain equipment & tooling, and perform site set-up and clean-up.
• Resolve property owner complaints and document work.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
