Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Superintendent in Houston, TX to oversee daily construction operations, ensure safety compliance, and manage schedules and staffing on assigned projects. You will inspect sites, coordinate with PMs and engineers, maintain documentation, and resolve on-site issues with proactive corrective action.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprints literacy, and solid organizational skills, with a preference for OSHA certification and higher education in

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction operations on assigned projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety policies.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily reports and progress updates.
• Identify and resolve on-site issues proactively and recommend and implement corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage material deliveries and site logistics.
• Needs to be willing to travel if needed.
• Resolve complaints with property owners in areas where our personnel are working.
• Coordinate scheduling and ensure adequate staffing.
• Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to the lead technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.
