Job summary

Motive Companies, LLC is seeking a Civil Laborer in Escondido, CA to support crews on telecommunications infrastructure projects. The role involves physical labor, material handling, and assisting with installation and repair of lines and equipment under supervision.

This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities to advance. Candidates should be dependable, able to follow directions, safety-oriented, with a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Able to pass background check.
Experience in civil/construction laboring required.

Responsibilities

Gathers materials for the job each day and ensures the crew has everything required.
Safely distributes materials at job site.
Hand locates existing utilities.
Hand grades landscape areas.
Hand digs trenches for conduits.
Safely operates construction/jobsite equipment.
Unloads and replaces equipment, backfill or perform further operation after completion of ditch line digs for gas mains, both new and existing.
Lifts heavy equipment for installation, when needed.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
All other duties as required.
