Telecom Broadband Project Manager
Our client, a leading broadband and telecommunications provider, is seeking a Broadband Project Manager to support critical network infrastructure initiatives throughout New Jersey.
This role will focus on managing pole transfer, cable replacement, and outside plant (OSP) infrastructure projects by coordinating contractors, tracking project execution, maintaining project systems, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals currently working within the broadband, cable, fiber, telecommunications, or utility construction industries who understand how outside plant projects are planned, coordinated, and executed.
*Candidates without broadband, cable, fiber, telecommunications, utility construction, or OSP project experience will not be considered.*
Must-Have Requirements
- 3+ years of Broadband, Telecommunications, Fiber, Cable, OSP, or Utility Project Management experience
- Experience working for a broadband provider, telecommunications company, cable operator, utility contractor, or telecommunications construction firm
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and subcontractors
- Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills
- Experience utilizing project management software
- Experience tracking project schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables
- Experience supporting invoicing and contractor billing activities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver's license

Primary Responsibilities
- Manage broadband infrastructure projects throughout New Jersey
- Coordinate pole transfer and cable replacement initiatives
- Drive project execution from planning through completion
- Manage contractor assignments and project workloads
- Monitor vendor performance and production metrics
- Track schedules, milestones, budgets, and deliverables
- Maintain project data and reporting within Sitetracker and related systems
- Manage invoicing and contractor billing activities
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, permitting, and operations teams
- Identify project risks and drive issue resolution
- Deliver project status reporting to leadership
- Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with occasional field visits as needed
- Ability to work from Newark, Piscataway, Tinton Falls, or Oakland, NJ
- Fast-paced environment supporting large-scale broadband infrastructure programs
- Daily interaction with contractors, engineering teams, operations groups, and senior leadership

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
