AtBigham Cable Construction, Inc. is seeking an Aerial Groundhand (entry-level) in Asheville, NC.

This hands-on, outdoor role involves supporting an aerial telecom crew with fiber/cable installation and maintenance in all weather conditions. Responsibilities include supplying tools and materials, moving equipment, tagging notifications, stocking vehicles, hand digging, and directing traffic per DOT guidelines.

Formación

• Must be 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record
• Pole climber certification or willingness to become certified
• Telecommunications labor experience a plus

Responsabilidades

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
