Advocate Health Mercy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a part-time RN to provide and coordinate care for acute stroke patients. The TeleStroke RN role supports the medical team, with Fri/Sat/Sun shifts, 8-hour days, and a 24-hour work week, at Atrium Health Mercy.

The position requires an RN license, BLS, NIHSS, and critical care experience. Pay ranges from $38.20 to $57.30 per hour, reflecting weekend shifts and specialty responsibilities in a Magnet-designated hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Candidates must have at least 5 years of RN experience, this position is not for new grads.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS certification required.
• Experience in critical care, emergency services, and/or care of acute stroke patients.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and best experience across the continuum.
• Coordinate care for acute stroke patients via virtual care in tele stroke RN role.
