Job Brief

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead for our Structural Steel Detailing department in Nashik with 8-15 years of experience and a Diploma/B-Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering. The ideal candidate will lead projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to US and Australian standards.

• Lead a team of structural steel detailers, ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Manage full project lifecycle from contract drawings to final submission
• Create and review project documentation, including job startup sheets and planning materials
• Analyze and extract critical information from contract drawings for modeling
• Verify grid systems by comparing structural and architectural drawings
• Oversee all aspects of steel detailing including member placement, connections, and compliance with OSHA standards
• Supervise preparation of Advanced Bill of Materials (ABM) and comprehensive reports
• Lead template editing and development for GA and shop drawings
• Oversee macro and custom component development
• Ensure timely submission of transmittal packages and customer-specific reports (KISS, NC, DXF, XML, FABSUITE)
• Expert proficiency in TEKLA for 3D modeling and structural steel detailing
• Advanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and US/Australian standards
• Experience with macro development and template creation
• Strong technical documentation abilities
• Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
• Excellent project management and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders and manage multiple projects
