Job summary

Nucor's Norfolk, NE facility seeks a Drafter/Modeler to support Vulcraft and Nucor Detailing Center with drafting and modeling services across US facilities. You will use 3D modeling to ensure parts fit together and produce fabrication drawings, reports, BOMs, and field drawings.

Safety is prioritized; candidates must demonstrate the ability to lead and uphold safety policies while contributing to efficient project delivery and accuracy in designs.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Drafting, Construction Management, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3D modeling experience using Tekla or SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide drafting/modeling services for Nucor facilities across the United States.
• Create 3D models to ensure components fit together, generate fabrication drawings, reports, BOMs, and field drawings.
• Uphold safety policies and maintain housekeeping standards at all times.
