Job summary

Circuit Stream Inc. is offering a summer-instructor role at the University of Houston to teach Finance, Investment Management, and Financial Technology concepts to teens. You will deliver provided curricula, guide hands-on market activities, and promote responsible financial research.

You will train with the team, ensure engaging sessions, and help students build practical money skills through simulations and real-world examples.

Qualifications

Completed degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Financial Technology, or a related discipline; Masters/PhD in progress or equivalent experience considered.
Strong understanding of investment fundamentals, portfolio construction, market data, diversification, and risk.
Fintech and crypto knowledge is strongly preferred.
Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or youth-program experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver Finance & Investment Management and/or Financial Technology & Investing curriculum with energy and clear classroom facilitation.
Guide students through market analysis, portfolio simulations, and fintech tool use while meeting course objectives.
Help students interpret market data, assess risk, and distinguish misinformation.
Create an inclusive, positive classroom environment and reinforce expectations and safety.
Supervise students during scheduled activities and communicate progress to Circuit Stream team.
