Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County is seeking an Elkhart Youth Development Professional to support middle and high school teens in our club programs. The part-time role focuses on mentoring, supervision, and creating engaging activities that help teens grow into confident young adults.

We value energetic, dependable individuals who can supervise, mentor, and facilitate programs after school with a strong emphasis on safety, inclusivity, and positive peer interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience working with school-age youth (ages 5-18) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, supportive relationships with middle and high school members.
• Actively engage teens in conversation, activities, and Club programs.
• Serve as a positive role model while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Encourage teens to explore interests, develop skills, and take leadership opportunities.
• Ensure a welcoming, respectful, inclusive Club environment.
