BC MECHANICAL, INC. is seeking a commercial HVAC installer with 3+ years of experience to join our established New York team. You will oversee installation of commercial units, ensure projects meet contract scope, and coordinate with engineers and supervisors to deliver on time.

The role requires strong mechanical knowledge, time management, and professional communication. You will install, calibrate, and service HVAC systems, collaborate with construction pros, and help maintain

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• Proficiency with tools and equipment used in HVAC installation and repair.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and or repair heating and cooling systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units.
• Connect electrical wiring, control panels, and piping to ensure proper system functionality.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to integrate HVAC systems into new or existing buildings.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency of HVAC systems.
• Inspect, clean, and replace air filters, coils, and other system components as needed.
• Test and troubleshoot system controls, thermostats, and sensors

We are currently seeking a commercial HVAC installer with 3+ years preferred experience who is looking to join a well established company with an ever growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and experience in overseeing the installation of commercial units, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet the scope of work reflected in the project contract. Time management, decision making and problem solving are very important aspects of this position as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, engineering and supervisors.
