Job summary

Bluewater Pools is seeking a Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will clean and maintain customer pools, including tiles, floors, pumps, and filters, while checking water chemistry and recording issues for management and customers.

Strong communication and a willingness to work outdoors are essential. Training wages start at $19.00 per hour; after training, pay is per-stop designed to pay at least $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team! As a Pool Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the integrity of various customers’ pools, including cleaning tile, pool floors, pump baskets, filters, and more. You will also be checking the water pH and chemical levels and making adjustments as needed, documenting any pool issues, and communicating all issues and changes to both management and customers. The ideal candidate has strong communication and customer service skills, a willingness to learn, and is comfortable working outside much of the year.
Training wages are 19.00 per hour, once training is complete work is paid on a per-stop basis designed to pay at least 25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Vacuum pool floors, steps, walls, tiles, pump baskets, and more
• Test pool water and balance the water chemistry based on those results
• Troubleshoot minor problems to keep the pool system running
• Document pool issues and repair needs, and communicate the status of the equipment to both management and customers

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills
• Experience working with pools desired
• Ability to work outside, sometimes in the sun
• 25 years old or older
• Small to midsize pick up truck is needed for this job. Mileage paid at $0.725 per mile. Limited company vehicles are available, there are specific benefits to use personal vehicles.
