Job summary

Industrial Technical Services is seeking a skilled maintenance technician with strong electrical/electronic lab skills to perform a variety of maintenance tasks and service requests. You will diagnose malfunctions, dismantle and access parts, and plan repairs using diagrams and manuals.

Responsibilities include wiring installations, ordering parts, and maintaining equipment. Three to five years in related maintenance, ET card or electrical license, and experience with 230V/460V are required;

Qualifications

• Industrial automation training or ET card required.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Experience with 230VAC and 460VAC required; starters and AC motors desirable.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
• Dismantles machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts.
• Performs routine maintenance.
• Diagnoses electrical and mechanical problems and determines how to correct them.
• Repairs machines, equipment, or structures.
• Maintains or repairs specialized equipment or machinery.
• Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, or equipment.
• Orders parts, supplies, or equipment.
• Plans and lays out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
• Performs general cleaning duties of equipment in buildings or properties.
• Records type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
