TJ Properties is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to perform service calls on gas forced air heating and central air conditioning in residential Philadelphia homes.

The role requires EPA certification to order and install refrigerant. You should be a team player who is comfortable working independently, taking pride in thorough, efficient customer jobs.

Work will be conducted on-site at West Philadelphia and North Philadelphia locations, with recurring service call opportunities.

Formación

• Past experience as an HVAC service technician or comparable education.
• EPA Certification to order & install refrigerant is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Prior experience with gas forced air heating & central air conditioning.
• Ability to climb ladders and move furnaces.

Responsabilidades

• Reasonable turnaround timing for HVAC repair requests.
• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems to improve efficiency, e.g., changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling refrigerants.
• Establish customer rapport to ensure satisfaction.
• Test pipe/tubing joints for leaks using a pressure gauge or soapy solution.
• Test electrical circuits/components for continuity with test equipment.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.
• Order and install refrigerant with EPA certification.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to perform service calls on gas forced air heating & central air conditioning. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, diagnosing, & installing heating and air conditioning systems in residential homes in Philadelphia.

You have past experience in an HVAC service technician role and hold an EPA certification to order & install refrigerant. A team player who is comfortable working independently, you take pride in thoroughly completing customer jobs with efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Reasonable turnaround timing for HVAC repair requests
• Repair or service heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to improve efficiency, such as by changing filters, cleaning ducts, or refilling non-toxic refrigerants
• Establish customer rapport to ensure the highest levels of satisfaction
• Test pipe or tubing joints or connections for leaks, using a pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution
• Test electrical circuits or components for continuity, using electrical test equipment
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring
• Order and installing refrigerant with an EPA certification
