DAILY DOSE RX LLC in New York City is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. You will be receiving prescriptions, checking for accuracy, and inputting information into our system. You will also accept payments for prescriptions, receive inventory, and answer customer questions and concerns.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational and customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.

Qualificações

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed.
• Ability to process prior authorizations independently.
• Sterile and non sterile compounding is prefered, but a strong candidate in other areas will be prioritised.

Responsabilidades

• Receive written and faxed prescriptions from patients and doctors, verify information, and input into the system.
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of all medications in the pharmacy.
• Receive incoming inventory, verify accuracy, log it, and shelve as needed.
• Maintain proper pharmacy records, including patient profiles and inventory logs.
• Accept payment for prescriptions and small transactions.
• Answer phones and handle customer inquiries, referring to the pharmacy as needed.
