As a Senior Technology Transfer and Export Control Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping, overseeing, and advancing programs that impact foreign military sales (FMS), foreign disclosure, export licensing, and technology security.This headquarters-based role entails strategic advising, policy execution, and interagency collaboration to ensure the success and continuity of defense technology transfer and Security Assistance Enterprise activities. Your work will advance U.S. efforts in supporting allies, partners, and the broader national security mission while upholding export control standards and safeguarding the integrity of sensitive U.S. defense technology.In this critical role, you will oversee the execution of multi-faceted security cooperation policies while providing management and oversight of export control compliance and technology security programs. You will serve as a senior advisor and key staff officer with expertise in the Arms Export Control Act (AECA), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), Technology Release and Foreign Disclosure (TRFD) procedures, and related policies. You will ensure the successful implementation of technology transfer and foreign disclosure processes in alignment with national security priorities, interagency goals, and international policy frameworks.You will guide stakeholders by analyzing legislation, facilitating policy harmonization, and leading interagency collaboration efforts with government agencies such as the Department of State and Department of Commerce. You will also oversee FMS and international agreements to ensure compliance with release requirements and export standards. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD).
