The global Information Technology (IT) Function is leading efforts to align IT and Business Strategy, leverage IT investments, and optimize end to end business processes and associated information integration technologies. Through these efforts, IT helps to improve the competitive position of Corning's businesses through IT enabled processes. IT also delivers Information Technology applications, infrastructure, and project services in a cost efficient manner to Corning worldwide.

Role Purpose

The Technology Center is recognized as the valued provider of technology services, software solutions, data analytics, and application support for the Workplace Services Division (WPS). This position supports the development, maintenance, optimization, and integration of business systems, databases, reporting platforms, and emerging artificial intelligence technologies. This position partners closely with Workplace Services functional teams including Information Technology, Facility Operations, Global Real Estate, Facility Engineering, Occupancy Planning, Environmental Health & Safety, to deliver data-driven insights, improve operational processes, and enhance user adoption of enterprise technology solutions.

The role serves as a key resource for business intelligence, reporting, software administration, digital workplace technologies, and Microsoft 365 adoption initiatives while ensuring reliable and effective operational support for Workplace Services.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analytics & Business Systems Administration

• Utilize emerging AI and automation technologies with effective prompting to improve reporting, workflows, and decision-making.
• Engage AI tools responsibly by protecting confidential information, following company policies, and applying human judgment and critical thinking to verify accuracy, identify bias, and ensure reliable business decisions.
• Extract, validate, and analyze data from multiple business systems to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop actionable reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI, SQL, Databricks, and related tools.
• Assist with Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps and Power Automate workflows that improve business processes and data collection.
  Maintain data integrity through governance, quality assurance, and validation while analyzing trends and patterns to identify process improvement opportunities.
  Support enterprise software applications by assisting with administration, configuration, testing, upgrades, deployments, sandbox validation, and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot application issues, monitor system performance, and coordinate with IT and business stakeholders to resolve problems and recommend operational improvements.
• Support Microsoft 365 and Workplace Services technologies by providing user guidance and collaborating across teams to improve productivity, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvement.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge and experience using AI concepts with business applications, data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence.
• Strong understanding of business processes, software systems, databases, and data management principle.
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with SQL, Oracle, Databricks, Power BI, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise platforms.
• Experience supporting enterprise system implementations, upgrades, and user adoption initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field preferred (an associate degree with relevant experience may be considered).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, enterprise systems administration, or related technology roles.
• Microsoft 365, SQL, or related certifications are highly desirable.

The range for this position is $63,380.00-$87,148.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
