Overview

Responsibilities
  • Builds and maintains technology-based supplier relationships for T-Mobile, specifically supporting cell site backhaul and network connectivity solutions.
  • Establishes, negotiates, and maintains all commercial terms and contracts with suppliers.
  • Owns and drives strategic sourcing initiatives including Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Quotations (RFQ), and Requests for Information (RFI).
  • Drive cross-functional sourcing groups to ensure supplier performance, manage sourcing plans, track supplier issues, communicate project status, and assess risk across a large supplier base supporting nationwide network deployments.
  • Provide leadership in sourcing strategies for large-scale, high-volume circuit deployments (1G/10G/100G+), balancing cost, speed to deploy, and network resiliency.
  • Interpret technical specifications into commercial and financial outcomes by liaising with engineering, transport, and network planning teams.
  • Summarize and present business cases, supplier strategies, and agreements for executive review and approval.
  • Manage supplier escalations related to delivery, performance, and contractual obligations impacting network deployment timelines.
Education and Work Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related field (Required)
  • 4–7 years of experience in technology sourcing, telecom/network engineering, or a similar role supporting infrastructure procurement
  • 4–7 years of experience managing business requirements, project plans, schedules, and related project materials in a mid to large size company
  • Experience working with telecom carriers, fiber providers, or network infrastructure vendors preferred

  • Understanding of network deployment lifecycle, including site activation timelines and service delivery intervals (Preferred)
  • Financial modeling and cost analysis for large-scale network sourcing decisions (Preferred)
Licenses and Certifications
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) (Preferred)
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) (Preferred)
  • Supply chain or sourcing certifications such as CPSM or CSCP (Preferred)
