Job summary

Pasco County Schools is seeking a Tech Equipment Technician to install, repair, and maintain information systems, hardware, software, and related applications. This position is located at the District Complex in Land O'Lakes, FL.

The candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in equipment repair or troubleshooting, with a valid Florida driver's license and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing as required by policy.

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of information systems, hardware, software, and applications of technology equipment and related systems.

EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree from an accredited institution
• One year of experience in technology equipment repair or troubleshooting;
• OR
• Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS

• Valid and current Florida driver's license
• Must maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the District Safe Driver II Plan. Driver's license must be maintained as a condition of continued employment.

OTHER REQUIRMENTS

• All hires must submit to and pass an initial drug test and subsequent random drug tests in accordance with the requirements of Florida Statute 112.0455 and the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
