Job summary

Vanguard is seeking a Technology Risk Advisor to strengthen second-line risk oversight for our business-aligned IT organizations. You will serve as a trusted advisor to software development teams, influence critical initiatives, and drive effective management of top risks.

Qualifications

Bachelore219s degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years in technology risk, IT audit, cybersecurity risk, or related field.
Experience assessing risks and evaluating controls in complex tech environments.
Knowledge of software development, cloud, and architecture.
Strong written and verbal communication; able to present to leadership.

Responsibilities

Provide independent risk oversight for modern and legacy technology environments.
Advise and challenge teams on architecture and delivery practices.
Conduct risk assessments and drive actionable risk insights.
Partner across risk and business teams to strengthen controls and risk responses.
Monitor emerging threats and adapt risk approaches in an agile way.
Contribute to shaping team strategy, vision, and operating model.
