Job description

The successful IT Project Coordinator II will work with developers and property staff to design and implement the cabling and technology setup for Mercy Housing offices and properties. This role is responsible for managing technology assets, providing technical support and training, and ensuring all technology needs are met efficiently. The position involves coordinating with external vendors and traveling to property sites during key development stages. It also requires documenting and managing technology-related issues, budgets, and plans. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule. Duties :

Project Coordination
  • Collaborate with project managers, technical teams, and stakeholders for support, coordination, and administrative assistance.
  • Create and maintain technology project plans, schedule resources, track tasks, and manage equipment budgets and dependencies.
  • Identify and communicate project progress, issues, and potential workarounds to stakeholders.
Network Design and Installation
  • Design network cabling in collaboration with building developers and low-voltage vendors.
  • Coordinate vendor services for onsite support and installations; document and escalate support issues as needed.
  • Travel to new property sites during development to work with General Contractors on network resources and cabling placement.
Technical Support and Training
  • Handle escalations for advanced property incidents and coordinate third-party vendor dispatches as needed.
  • Develop and implement information systems orientation and technology training for staff.
  • Work with the training department to develop and implement a Mercy Technology training curriculum and create self-service documentation.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years in computer troubleshooting and network topology.

Knowledge and Skills :

  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Strong organization, project management, and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Autonomy in decision-making when dealing with General Contractors regarding network resources and cabling.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office applications.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with printers, scanners, VOIP phones, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, and other network devices.
