The TPM will work closely with engineering, architecture, UX, business stakeholders, SRE, operations, and platform teams to define product requirements, prioritize investments, and ensure successful delivery of capabilities that improve customer engagement, application performance, platform reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the T-Life BFF platform.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance digital customer experiences through API orchestration, service aggregation, and backend optimization.
  • Align product priorities with T-Mobile's digital transformation and customer experience objectives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, architectural patterns, and platform capabilities to drive innovation.
Product Management & Delivery
  • Own and manage the BFF product backlog, feature prioritization, and release planning.
  • Translate business and customer requirements into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner with engineering teams throughout the SDLC to ensure successful feature and capability delivery.
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, roadmap reviews, product/release planning, and stakeholder communications.
  • Define and track product success goals, OKRs, and KPIs.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and communicate product value to customers and stakeholders.
  • Partner with architects and engineering leaders to define scalable BFF architecture and API strategies.
  • Drive standardization of API design, service integration, caching strategies, and performance optimization.
  • Ensure scalability, resiliency, security, observability, and reliability requirements are met.
  • Support migration initiatives involving microservices, cloud-native technologies, and modern application architectures.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of technology trends, architectures, and evolving product-management practices.
Operational Excellence & AIOps
  • Partner with SRE, Operations, and Support teams to improve platform health and reliability.
  • Drive initiatives focused on:
  • Root-cause analysis acceleration
  • Monitoring and observability improvements

  • Conduct customer discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and ecosystem research.
  • Monitor market trends, partner ecosystems, competitive strategies, and emerging technologies.
  • Define and articulate product and business differentiation.
Stakeholder & Team Leadership
  • Collaborate with business leaders, customer experience teams, engineering, architecture, and operations to align priorities.
  • Influence cross-functional teams without formal authority and drive organizational change.
  • Present roadmap progress, business value, product performance, and technical recommendations to leadership.
  • Set a clear product vision and motivate engineering teams toward successful delivery.
  • Prioritize, delegate, influence, persuade, and resolve competing priorities effectively.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience in software, platform, cloud, or digital technology environments.
