Vanguard's Technology Leadership Program in the Risk & Security Analyst track offers a two-year rotational development experience designed for graduates ready to begin technology careers. You'll rotate through cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, risk management, and identity & access management, while increasing ownership and leadership capability.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related field.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud prevention.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and initiative.
• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks across Vanguard's systems and processes.

The Technology Leadership Program is a two-year rotational development experience designed for graduating students ready to begin their careers in technology. Participants complete three eight-month rotations across Risk & Security-focused teams, gaining exposure to different areas such as cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, risk management, and identity & access management - while increasing ownership, responsibility, and leadership capability over time.

In this program, you will:

• Support efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity and operational risks
• Analyze potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risk scenarios across systems and processes
• Contribute to reporting, dashboards, or insights that support risk-informed decision-making
• Partner with security, technology, and business teams to strengthen controls and processes
• Gain hands-on experience in risk management, cybersecurity frameworks, and digital ethics
• Apply Agile methodologies to support risk and security initiatives in a dynamic environment
• Take ownership of projects and contribute to delivering meaningful outcomes
• Collaborate across teams, share insights, and drive solutions in a supportive environment
• Build a network with program managers, alumni, senior leaders, and peers
• Meet regularly with your department manager and program manager to receive personalized coaching and mentorship

What it takes:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a concentration in computer science, computer engineering, IST, IT, CIS, Security, Risk, Cybersecurity or related technical/engineering subject matter required

• Strong interest in cybersecurity, threat analysis, risk management, or fraud prevention

• Demonstrated leadership potential, initiative, and ability to take ownership of work

• Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment

• Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher preferred
