Raymond James Financial, Inc. seeks a Technology Finance Manager to oversee budgets, resources, and procurement for Technology Operations.

You will work with IT Finance, project management, procurement, and architecture teams to ensure accurate financial deliverables and staffing plans. In this hybrid role, you will provide budgeting leadership, prepare month-end reviews, and develop key metrics with senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Five years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience in Financial Services is highly preferred.
• Background partnering with an IT organization is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administrative deliverables for Technology Operational teams.
• Lead annual budgeting process with IT Finance coordination.
• Produce monthly expense and staffing review packages for leadership levels.
• Partner with resource management for staffing onboarding and time tracking.
• Lead purchasing requests with procurement and vendor approvals.
• Collaborate with Project Management on project charter creation and review.

In office days will be 3 per week in our St Petersburg, FL Corporate Office.This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.Job DescriptionAs part of the Ops & Tech Finance Business Management team, the Technology Finance Manager will work closely with all Technology departments to oversee administrative deliverables related to budgets, finance, resources, and procurement. This position will partner with IT Finance, project management, resource management, procurement/vendor management, infrastructure, development, service delivery and architecture groups.This position operates as an individual contributor and does not include direct supervisory responsibility for team members.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee administrative deliverables for assigned Technology Operational team(s) or area. Functions as a liaison between Technology administrative groups and operational teams.Manages the annual budget process and plays a lead role in coordination with IT Finance.Produces and presents monthly expense and staffing review packages to multiple levels of area leadership, from the senior executive down to the department manager.Partners with the resource management team for new staffing requests, onboarding, and time tracking purposes.Assumes leadership role in purchasing requests (i.e. working with procurement, vendor requirements, navigating the approval process).Works closely with Project Management to provide guidance and assistance with project charter creation and review.Partners with assigned senior leaders in assigned operational groups to create and manage specific business metrics.Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Skills/Previous Experience:Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related degree and five (5) years of relevant experience or a combination of education, training and experience is preferred.Financial Services experience highly preferred.Background partnering with an IT organization is highly preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of:Financial Analysis, data, and metrics.Project Management and methodologies.Generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).Time tracking systems (preferably ServiceNow).Skill in:Preparing financial management reports.Reviewing, interpreting, and analyzing financial information.Using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and dashboards.Ability to:Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions.Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; recommend or take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences.Demonstrate a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; remains current with developments and trends in areas of expertise.Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.Make internal and external clients and their needs a primary focus of actions; develop and sustain productive client relationships.Occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends and/or have on-call responsibilities.Licenses/Certifications:None required.EducationBachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Finance, High School (HS) (Required)Work ExperienceGeneral Experience - 3 to 6 yearsCertificationsTravelLess than 25%WorkstyleHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, and may include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
