• Instruct students to the best of their ability within the curriculum plan adopted by the Board.
• Participate in committees and attend building and District faculty meetings.
• Supervise and care for furniture, books, supplies and equipment; report abuses.
• Maintain classroom control and consult with the principal as needed.
• Open and close school sessions on schedule; enforce Board rules.
• Manage and supervise students; may receive assignments outside the classroom from the principal.
• Communicate with parents as needed in the best interests of students.
