Job summary

ServingSchools is seeking an Elementary Technology Educational Technician III to support technology education across K–5 students in Manchester, Readfield, Mount Vernon, and Wayne Elementary Schools.

The role requires strong technology skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities, with a focus on developmentally appropriate lesson planning and effective classroom management. A Maine Ed Tech III authorization is required.

Qualifications

Elementary Level

Job Goal: To support technology education at the elementary level. The successful candidate will possess strong technology skills, be highly organized, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have experience working with elementary-level students. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with students and staff at Manchester, Readfield, Mount Vernon, and Wayne Elementary Schools.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills.
• Knowledge of technology and technology equipment (iPads, projectors, and Promethean boards).
• Experience and a true desire to work with elementary-level children.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other professionals.
• Ability to plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons across a K–5 grade span.
• Familiarity with ISTE Standards for Students and alignment to Maine Learning Results.

Certification: State of Maine Ed Tech III Authorization

Looking for a candidate who displays professionalism and a strong work ethic and who is willing to collaborate with others to support students. Willing to train the right person. Salary Range: $22.07-$26.57/hr - based on degree level and years of teaching experience
